14. YOUNG PEOPLE LOVE THE TRUTH

 

UUMission trains and sends young people committed to the truth of the Gospel as evangelists, preachers, pastors, and soul-saving missionaries. Young people look for the most valuable pursuit to which they can give their lives. They want to discover who they are in Christ, thirst for His truth and holiness, and desire to devote their lives to Him for eternity. There are many sleeping giants, men and women of the Holy Spirit, who are candidates for evangelism.

 

God's sovereignty doesn't exclude human responsibility. God's Kingdom is expanded by the efforts of evangelists. Who can listen to the Gospel without evangelists delivering the Gospel? (See Romans 10:14.) When evangelists convey the truth of the Gospel, God works inside the hearers and gives them eternal life (Acts 13:48). The Holy Spirit opens the hearts of people who listen to the Good News, so they can believe in Jesus as the Christ (Acts 16:14). One theological student is, in fact, one potential church. A well-trained theological student is a spiritual leader, who is going to lead a lot of souls to Christ in the future.
