16. CREATIVE REFORMED TRADITION
Non-Christians come to believe in Jesus Christ and become God's children in places where Bread University graduates proclaim the Good News. Like a flash of lightning, they believe and surrender their lives to Jesus Christ. God’s Words penetrate their hearts like thunder, and repentance, regeneration, justification, and sanctification follow. Kingdom membership is increased, the world becomes brighter, and the corruption of society is reduced. One’s faith doesn't end with words of submission to Jesus as Lord, but we are led to live godly, productive lives, to experience the presence of God, Immanuel, and the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
Bread University pursues the Reformed Tradition. The core of Reformed theology is the Gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ, the incarnation of Christ, His death on the Cross at Calvary, and the Good News of His resurrection. Those who believe in Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior become one with God and have eternal life by the bread of life. We creatively accept all traditions of Christianity within the boundary of creative Reformed Tradition. We welcome scholarship and integrity in theological studies and pursue progressive “ecclesia semper reformanda,” which produces effectiveness in field ministry.
