20. FINANCIAL TRANSPARENCY
UUMission doesn't try to make a profit or become wealthy through its innovative way of providing a theological education. Financial dealings are transparent. We are monitored by the National Tax Service and use our finances wisely and legally. The person in charge must report all expenditures to the board of trustees. All finances come from donations or contributions from individuals, members, churches, corporations, or organizations.
We look for Christian partners who want to be a part of God’s work. We want them to see to whom their generous donations are given and the great benefit they provide. For example, God led supporters to Paul, the evangelist: the elder, Gaius; Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth; Priscilla and Aquilla from Rome; Jason; and Philemon.
