35. PARABLE OF ROSES
Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, is the only mediator between God and people (1 Timothy 2:5) and the only Way of eternal life (John 14:6). Through Him alone are we reconciled to God. Millions of artificial roses cannot be compared to a real rose in quality. It is practically wrong to compare a real rose to another real rose or a fake rose to another fake rose. There is little difference. However, when you compare a real rose to a fake rose, the real rose will say, “You have the form of a rose but are not a living rose.”
The foundational truth of historical Christianity is that Jesus is the real rose, given by God to the world of “dead roses” to make them alive again. This is the Almighty One's unique revelation. God’s Words in the Bible are His eternal truth, and His veritable truth is rightly exclusive.
